This garment was part of my December SOTA critique.
Materials:
Vintage wool + bamboo jersey
Process:
After patternmaking, making a sample, and then thoughtfully sewing the final garment together, I put in some long sessions of just hand-sewing the jersey lining into the coat. A great deal of care was put into the making of this garment, so much so that I'm still in debate over whether I can part with it.
Features:
I love the slouchy collar, angled cuff pockets, soft bamboo lining, and the overall soft structure of the garment. It just envelopes and embraces the wearer. It's lightweight and perfect for Autumn.
